Tasting Notes
Our barrel selected cool-climate Syrah offers a perfume of blueberry, violet and clove. On the palate, concentrated flavours of blueberry, clove and black olive are integrated with structured tannins.
Vinification
Shiraz grapes selected from the Mt Concord block are hand-picked, destemmed and crushed into open-top fermenters. The wine is gently pressed and matured in French oak barriques for 18 months.

2015 Vintage
This season saw warm weather arrive early in spring, bringing earlier than expected bud burst. No disease pressures were evident or extreme heat events, just warm sunshine. This vintage saw low yields resulting in very concentrated flavourful wines.
Halliday Rating - 95 points
"Hand-picked, destemmed and crushed, open-fermented, matured in French barriques for 18 months. An attractive, juicy, medium-bodied Syrah, with fresh red and black cherry fruits driving the fragrant bouquet and palate alike. Irresistible."
