Estate Chardonnay 2021

Tasting Notes
Our Estate Chardonnay offers perfumed notes of bright citrus and orange blossom. The palate expresses rich citrus fruit with hints of kaffir lime leaf.
Vinification
The Estate Chardonnay grapes were fermented in a blend of French oak barriques using wild yeast and left to mature on lees for 8 months.

2021 Vintage
The 2021 vintage saw stable and warm conditions. The fruit harvested delivered gorgeous aromas and flavours and beautifully balanced wines. This parcel of fruit was picked on the 9th of March.

Vineyard
22 ACRES OF MATURE VINES
Gioiello Estate's vineyard is located within the Yea Valley on the Goulburn River, on the lower reaches of 651 metre high Mt Concord. Our 22 acres of mature vines were planted on north facing slopes between 1987 and 1992.
