Tasting Notes
Our 2019 Estate Syrah exhibits typical cool climate characteristics with lifted red fruit flavours blended with pepper and spice.
Vinification
Shiraz grapes are handpicked, de-stemmed and crushed into open-top fermenters. The wine is gently pressed and matured in French oak barriques for 18 months.

2019 Vintage
2019 vintage saw dry and warm conditions across the property but the vineyard thrived. We had a harvest date for this parcel of fruit on the 7th of March.
Wine Reviews
"A wine with a dark maroon hue, the nose offers chocolate, spices, cassis, dry herbs, cold tea, aniseed and black fruits. Delicious palate. This is plush in texture, but thee is refinement and balance. Very good length with silky tannins. The chocolate and cherry notes dominate on the palate, offering much pleasure. Enjoy this over the next six to ten years. Like this a great deal. Cracking value".

"An engaging combination of scented fragrances and more earthy characteristics emerges from the nose. There are subtle touches of rusty nail and minerals adding to the primary fruit characters. Lifted red fruits with some nice peppery spiciness adding to the appeal. At its best : now to 2033."
