Old Hill Chardonnay 2025

Tasting Notes
Our 2025 Old Hill Chardonnay exhibits aromatics of citrus blossom, roasted hazelnuts and white peach. On the palate, excellent structure and length are complemented by brioche, lemon and lime and white blossom.
Vinification
The Old Hill block chardonnay grapes were hand-picked and fermented in French oak barriques ( 30% new ) using wild yeast and left to mature on lees for eight months.

2025 Vintage
The 2025 vintage saw warmer days and nights and fewer rain events resulting in well - formed grape bunches. This parcel of fruit was harvested on the 28th of February.

22 ACRES OF MATURE VINES
Gioiello Estate's vineyard is located within the Yea Valley on the Goulburn River, on the lower reaches of 651 metre high Mt Concord. Our 22 acres of mature vines were planted on north facing slopes between 1987 and 1992.
