Drinking beautifully. Time should see the Mt Concord take its position as their premium Syrah but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy this along the way. Deep maroon in colour, the nose is appealingly fragrant with notes of leather, spices, aniseed, red fruits and leaf litter. A sleek texture and good direction, the wine is well balanced with decent length, finishing with satiny tannins. Still fresh and energetic, we see more red fruits emerge on the palate.
