Tasting Notes
Our 2021 Old Hill Chardonnay exhibits aromatics of lemon / lime, brioche and cashews. On the palate excellent structure and length are complemented by dried fig, citrus and hints of white peach.
2022 Reserve Chardonnay. Experience aromas of toasted nuts, citrus blossom and crushed kaffir lime leaf. Great texture and balance on the palate with citrus and toasty brioche.
Our 2023 Old Hill Chardonnay exhibits aromas of lime, brioche and cashews. On the palate, excellent structure and length are complimented by brioche, citrus and hints of white peach.
Vinifcation
The Old Hill block chardonnay grapes were hand-picked and fermented in French oak barriques using wild yeast and left to mature on lees for 8 months.

Vintage
The 2021 vintage saw stable and warm conditions. The fruit hand picked, delivered gorgeous aromas and flavours and beautifully balanced wines. This parcel of fruit was picked on the 9th March.
2022 saw rainfall early in the season leading into a typical summer. Vines cropped lower than average resulting in quality fruit with flavour concentration. This parcel of Chardonnay was hand picked on the 8th of March.

Free delivery for orders over $150. A flat $15 delivery fee will apply for orders under $150.
Additional delivery charges will apply if you are in remote regions of Australia.
Deliveries are made via Australia Post. Standard delivery times to all major cities is approximately 4-5 business days.
Vineyard
22 ACRES OF MATURE VINES
Gioiello Estate's vineyard is located within the Yea Valley on the Goulburn River, on the lower reaches of 651 metre high Mt Concord. Our 22 acres of mature vines were planted on north facing slopes between 1987 and 1992.
