Estate Syrah 2017

Tasting Notes
Our cool-climate Syrah offers perfume notes of mulberries and toasty oak. On the palate flavours of red berries and savoury spice integrate with oak characteristics.
Vinification
Shiraz grapes are handpicked, de-stemmed and crushed into open-top fermenters. The wine is then gently pressed and matured in French oak barriques for 18 months.

2017 Vintage
2017 Vintage brought stable and pleasant conditions across the vineyard allowing for perfect budburst and fruit set. This parcel of Shiraz grapes was harvested on the 4th of March.

Additional delivery charges will apply if you are in remote regions of Australia.
Deliveries are made via Australia Post. Standard delivery times to all major cities is approximately 4-5 business days.
Vineyard
22 ACRES OF MATURE VINES
Gioiello Estate's vineyard is located within the Yea Valley on the Goulburn River, on the lower reaches of 651 metre high Mt Concord. Our 22 acres of mature vines were planted on north facing slopes between 1987 and 1992.
